With period features throughout, Granary cottage has the feel of a traditional country escape with a modern twist.
Granary has one large bedroom with a king size bed, coordinating dresser, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The simple décor creates a peaceful space, in which you won’t be able to help but feel relaxed. While the exposed brickwork and original beams bring plenty of character to the room.
Downstairs is a bright open plan kitchen living room. The TV corner comprises of two sofas, plenty of blankets and a smart TV, perfect for a cosy night in enjoying your favourite programmes or films. The newly decorated kitchen is equipped with all the appliances you will need along with a large dining table, a great space whether you’re cooking up a storm or ordering food in.
Outside you have your own patio area, garden furniture and a communal lawn shared with the neighbouring two cottages. A tranquil area for soaking up the sun, socialising or enjoying a bite to eat.
Whether you’re visiting Abingdon for a few days, on a romantic getaway or taking a little longer away from the daily grind, Granary is the perfect spot for you to come and unwind.

- Pets are more than welcome, but we do ask for them to be kept on leads in communal areas. We’ll provide a bed and bowl for your four-legged friend to make sure they have a great stay too!
- We have a safe private car park which is free for all our guests to use.
- With the Thames path, riverside gardens, fishing spots, friendly pubs and independent restaurants all in walking distance, it is an excellent place for holidaying.

Historical Abingdon became the county town of Berkshire sometime after receiving its Royal Charter in 1556. It is a market town and civil parish in England.
This breathtaking town located just six miles south-west of Oxford was formally a county town of Berkshire but had a slight name change in 2012 to become Abingdon-on-Thames.
Abingdon town centre refurbished in 2007 as part of the council's redevelopment plan took on a great new look. All work was in keeping with the surrounding area.

In 1084, William the Conqueror celebrated and enjoyed Easter at the Abbey. He then left his son, the future Henry I, to be educated there.
